A HEART TO PRAY, A MIND TO WORK
“So built we the wall; and all the wall was joined together unto the half thereof: for the people had a mind to work” (Neh 4:6)
By the sovereign will of God, Maranatha Bible-Presbyterian Church, Singapore was guided into the wide harvest field of India, particularly Bangalore, the IT Hub of India. Through the ministry of Dr George Skariah, his wife Bessy and Preacher Justin Paul, the Covenant Bible-Presbyterian Church of India was started in June 2005 and by the grace of God, there are about 25 people worshipping with us (including children) and it is still growing.
The Lord has laid upon our hearts to build a reformed and conservative Church in the heart of India that will be a spiritual lighthouse to beam forth the gospel into this great continent of more than 1 billion people where 98% are unsaved. We ask that you pray and unite with us in this gospel advance to the saving of souls, the edifying of the saints and the vigilant defence of the faith in these last days. Pray especially for God’s gracious provision and protection of our missionaries and guidance in the construction of a church building for the future growth of the ministry.
