Dr George Skariah |
Our pastor is Dr George Skariah. He is married to Bessy and has two children.
Born and brought up by Christian parents in Kerala, India, Pastor George received the call to serve the Lord at the age of 17. Having completed secular studies in India, he went to Singapore to begin his theological education and enrolled at Far Eastern Bible College (FEBC) in 1990, at the age of 22. After six years of training, George graduated with Bachelor of Theology (BTh) and Master of Divinity (MDiv) degrees. In 1996, he enrolled at Singapore Bible College (SBC) to study Master of Theology (ThM) in the areas of New Testament and Hermeneutics. Upon graduation, he went back to India to serve the Lord as Lecturer in New Testament at Jubilee Memorial Bible College (JMBC), Madras in 1998. Having served there for five years, George returned to FEBC in 2002 to do his doctoral studies. In 2005, he completed his Doctor of Theology (ThD) and returned to Bangalore, India as a missionary of Maranatha BPC, Singapore to establish Covenant BPC of India. |
